Abstract:
The primary aim of this paper is to share the developed module for teachers and students specializing in Filipino in the subject Introduction to Research, Language, and Literature. The researcher used the descriptive-evaluative method to conduct the study and to describe the acceptability of the developed module. In the evaluation part of this study, the results of the evaluation by experts and teachers were assessed to prove the acceptability of the developed module. This study used a mix of quantitative and qualitative methods. A significant part of this study involved the use of quantitative methods. However, qualitative methods were also used to support the quantitative analysis. The necessary information related to the variables was gathered through document analysis and data content from questionnaires. In the qualitative analysis, data from the reviewed questionnaires and survey results were used to guide the researcher in answering the stated problems. On the other hand, in the quantitative analysis, the researcher personally distributed the questionnaires using Google Forms. Based on the findings presented in the problems, there was a lack of modules during the pandemic, which led to the development of the proposed module in Research, Language, and Literature. Based on the conclusions presented, it is recommended to continue developing teaching materials such as modules for teaching Filipino as well as other subjects. Other materials with interdisciplinary content can be developed; teachers are encouraged to develop modules; adding activities to the developed module is suggested; and allocating funds and moral support to capable teachers who can develop modules is recommended.
