Consortia Academia is committed to respecting the privacy and protecting the personal information of authors, reviewers, editors, and other individuals who interact with its scholarly journals. Personal information collected through manuscript submissions, editorial correspondence, registration forms, and other journal-related activities will be used for legitimate scholarly publishing and administrative purposes.
Collection and Use of Personal Information
Information such as names, institutional affiliations, email addresses, and other contact details may be collected for manuscript processing, editorial communication, peer review, publication administration, scholarly record maintenance, and related journal activities. Personal information will not be used for unrelated marketing activities or disclosed to unrelated third parties without appropriate authorization, except where required by law or necessary for legitimate publication services.
Author Email Addresses and Publication Preferences
Authors may choose whether their email addresses are publicly displayed in their published articles or on the journal website. The publication of an author’s email address is optional and is not a condition of manuscript acceptance or publication. Authors who prefer not to disclose their email addresses publicly may request that such information be omitted from the published article and its associated online publication record. Contact information provided during submission will remain available to authorized editorial personnel for legitimate journal correspondence and administrative purposes, regardless of whether the author chooses to display an email address publicly. The corresponding author may provide an email address for editorial communication without consenting to its public disclosure.
Confidentiality of the Editorial and Peer-Review Process
Consortia Academia respects the confidentiality of manuscript submissions and editorial communications. Information relating to unpublished manuscripts, reviewer identities, peer-review reports, and editorial deliberations will be handled in accordance with the journal’s applicable peer-review and publication ethics policies. Access to personal information will be limited to authorized individuals and service providers whose involvement is necessary for legitimate journal operations, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection arrangements.
Publication Records and Scholarly Metadata
Accepted and published articles ordinarily include bibliographic information such as author names, institutional affiliations where provided, article titles, publication details, and Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs), where assigned. Such information may be shared with scholarly indexing services, bibliographic databases, DOI registration agencies, and other academic discovery platforms to support citation, identification, accessibility, and preservation of published research. Authors’ personal email addresses will not be included in publicly disseminated publication metadata solely because they were provided during submission. Any public disclosure of author email addresses will be based on the authors’ stated publication preferences or other appropriate authorization.
Requests Concerning Personal Information
Authors and other individuals may contact the editorial office to request corrections or updates to their personal information, including changes to the public display of their email addresses. Requests will be reviewed in accordance with applicable privacy requirements, legitimate editorial needs, and the responsibilities associated with maintaining accurate scholarly publication records. Where information has already been distributed to independent indexing services, repositories, or other third-party platforms, Consortia Academia may not be able to guarantee its removal from every external record.
