Abstract:

The general problem is determining the level of competence of Filipino teachers in developing communication and research teaching skills in Senior High Schools. The study used the descriptive research method to develop the capacity-building program. The respondents to the study were selected from Senior High Schools. As a result, the teacher has experienced problems teaching Komunikasyon and Pananaliksik because the student has no interest in the Filipino language. It is because they did not fully understand the meaning of a word. In the result presented, the following conclusions are drawn: Filipino teachers have a very satisfactory level of competence in developing the teaching skills of Komunikasyon and Pananaliksik in Senior High School, according to different bases. Furthermore, the use of innovative technology, strategies, and techniques by Filipino teachers in developing communication and research teaching skills in Senior High School can help students learn.
