Abstract:

Its typically normal for a language teacher that have so much school works like teaching loads, paper works, preparation of instructional materials and others related task. Despite of those challenges their dedication to teach and commitment to their sworn duties are never lost. In this time of pandemic that classes are delivered online, how they coped to those challenges? What strategies they did to solved this? This phenomenological study focused on online teaching experiences like challenges and strategies of grade 8 Filipino teachers in Manila City High School. There are six respondents and all of them are grade 8 Filipino teachers. Survey form were given to them through Google Forms to know the respondents response about challenges they experienced and strategies they did in online teaching. Survey questions was validated first by the Master teacher before it was sent to respondents.
