Abstract:
This study aims to know the methods used by Irosanon teacher-parent in the school and in their home as a means of readiness in facing pandemic related problems. 1) To determine the methods used by Irosanon teacher-parent to recover from pandemic related problems in schools particularly in teaching and learning in home. 2) To determine the positive and negative effects of pandemic in schools and home of the Irosanon teacher-parents. 3) To suggest an activity in school and a livelihood at home in time of pandemic in relation to the result of the study. The qualitative design was used by the researcher for the study and in choosing the participants a purposive sampling was utilized, in data gathering a non-structured question in interview were distributed, sent and collected through private messaging in order to record the answers in the interview. The respondents were Irosanon teacher-parents. Findings: 1) There were different kinds of methods the teacher-parents used to recover from the pandemic related problems in schools and home as a means of challenge in teaching. 2) There were different kinds of positive and negative effects of pandemic in schools and home of an Irosanon teacher-parents. 3) A proposed seminar-workshop for the Irosanon teacher-parent would be conducted in order to help developing skills a new normal modality of teaching in schools and a means of livelihood at home in times of pandemic. Conclusion: 1) The Irosanon teacher-parents has their own different ways in recovering pandemic related problems in their schools and home as a means of challenge in teaching. 2) There were differences of negative and positive effects of pandemic in schools and home as a means of challenge in teaching. 3) The output of the study is a proposal to conduct a seminar-workshop in order to develop skills in a new normal modality of teachings in schools and a means of livelihood at home in times of pandemic.
