Abstract:

This study examined mobile applications, artificial intelligence (AI) integration, and teacher digital competency as drivers of instructional efficacy. Specifically, it assessed the level of utilization of mobile applications in instruction in terms of instructional support, collaboration and communication, and learner engagement and motivation. It also examined the extent of AI integration in instruction in terms of personalized learning, automated assessment, data analytics, and administrative support. In addition, the study evaluated teachers’ digital competency in terms of professional engagement, empowering learners, and facilitating learners’ digital competence. Instructional efficacy was assessed in terms of instructional planning effectiveness, classroom engagement effectiveness, and learning outcome achievement. The study further determined the relationships among mobile applications, AI integration, teacher digital competency, and instructional efficacy, as well as identified which factors significantly predict instructional efficacy. A descriptive-correlational research design was employed, utilizing a structured questionnaire to gather data from 384 respondents. Statistical tools were used to describe the variables, test relationships, and determine predictors of instructional efficacy. Findings of the study are expected to provide empirical evidence on how digital tools and teacher competencies contribute to effective instruction. Based on the results, an action plan is proposed to enhance instructional efficacy through the optimized use of mobile applications, artificial intelligence, and strengthened teacher digital competency.
